The basic characteristic of the age of Aquarius is the fact that one should be the change one wants to see in the world. Today we can see an interesting paradox. Modern woman is supposed to compete with her husband or life companion in order to prove equal. But she is also supposed to compete with her female friends, because competition is one of the basic principles of behavior in Western world. We learn to compete in school as little children and it sticks.
As glorious as we may feel, when we win, competition as such is not the best thing for relationships. It keeps us apart instead of drawing us together.
