What is true love? There have been many attempts at defining it. Is it a really passionate love? Is it love that lasts a lifetime? Or is it the compassionate love?
In my opinion we cannot define TRUE love once and for all, for there is no FALSE love.
Is there a thing like false love? I do not think so. Love simply IS or IS NOT. Yes, there can be more or less love or in other words it can be more or less passionate.
The classic example are ‘friends’ that do not know you anymore, when you fall ill or go bankrupt for example. They can be called false friends. But their love is not false I believe....

New technology like social sites or Google Now, the new »mind-reading« personal assistant, are to be used by us and not vice versa.
If they take away all one’s real-life interaction with people, one cannot blame them. If one’s battery is empty and one is so reliant on Garmin or Google Now that one does not even know which part of the city one is in, one should not blame technology either.
Before Facebook, Twitter, Garmin and Google Now there was TV that could totally occupy somebody and even before TV there was the phantasy world of books.

When it is freshly found,
it is like a sprout shooting from the ground.
No matter how hard at first it seems,
the fears burst like a bubble in dreams.
A passion burning is all one can feel
and to the greatness of it one will kneel.
When the sprout becomes a plant
and can see from one to the other end,
many unpleasant hues come to sight.
The passion ceases to make everything bright.
This is the point of making it or breaking,
patience is the answer in times of angry shaking.
Soon they both become sure of one thing:
each their own luggage from the past did bring.

Do you ever take the road less travelled? Or do you always do what the majority of people do, because it is easier?
It is easier to read many books on meditation and even lecture about it than to actually develop a habit to meditate daily.
It is easier to write a book on compassion than to actually be compassionate. Of course it is not difficult to be compassionate to visitors for that one hour they stay at our place. But let’s try to be compassionate to the partner, when we come home from work totally tired and (s)he has forgotten it is our anniversary.
